Today is Heidi Thomalla's birthday! She is one of my closest and dearest friends whom I have known since kindergarten. She was my maid of honor in my wedding and has been faithful for years on end. How wonderful it is to have people like her in this world. We have been through many milestones together in our lives, some which have brought tears and some which have brought laughter. I suppose each event that you experience with someone knits your hearts together closer and closer. Despite the distance that lies between us, I know Heidi is there at any time.
