Family Visits

We had the pleasure of having both sides of the family visit recently. It was absolutely wonderful! Kurt's parents had a blast with Jack....he loved crawling around with Papa and reading books with Mamo. He also loved Mamo's bling. She worn extra jewelry just for him while she was here. Kurt and his dad were able to go on a fishing trip together and had some bonding time together. Mom and I had our bonding time as well. (I think we had more fun, but Kurt would beg to differ!) We went shopping, ate at Augie's BBQ and also visited the tea gardens. I still haven't seen any pics of the "fish" they caught on their trip! :) We also went for a hike at Freidrich Wilderness Park. Jack didn't break a sweat to say the least! 

Mema, Papa, Uncle BJ and Cousin Marleigh also came to visit. BJ, Kurt and Marleigh ventured to Enchanted Rock and climbed through the cave together. Suprisingly no one got closterphobic, but BJ did come within 6 inches of kissing a bat! We made a trip to the Alamo (my first time there!) and ate at Augie's (I now take all visitors there...Thanks Kate for introducing me!). Jack enjoyed playing with Marleigh, scratching Papa's whiskers, trying to remove Uncle BJ's tattoos and making surprise attacks on Mema. Oh and of course he had a few staring contests with Uncle BJ, which he always wins.
