Happy Birthday to MEEE! What a great 28th birthday it was. We went to the Donut Mill again and pigged out for breakfast...biscuits and gravy and donuts! It was yummy. Then we came home and Jack took his nap. We then drove to Manitou Springs to the historic Miramont Castle, which was built in 1895 and has 46 rooms. It was fabulous. We had "high tea" at 2, which lasted about 2 hours. Jack was a great baby. The other ladies kept saying, "Wow, what a laid back baby he is." If they only knew!!! He kept entertained by eating whatever I fed him if it was on a big boy fork and by flinging around his dill sprig. I am so thankful it did not end up on the table next to us. We then took a tour of the castle. It was 4 stories and the exit on each floor was at ground level (the castle was built into the moutainside). We then drove around the neighborhoods of Manitou and ooh'd and ahh'd at the cool houses.
We are now going to watch a chick flick...Bride Wars. How much better could it get?!
Jack was so good at the high tea! He sat in his vintage Mickey Mouse high chair for 2 hours! He loves the lemon scone spread!
Who knew a dill sprig could keep a kid happy for 1/2 hour?!
This was the dessert plate (that I shared with Kurt!)
Daddy and Jack playing dress up at the tea room!
Mommy and her handsome boy!
Ok mom, taking it a little far! Mommy needs a daughter for this stuff! :)
The gardens outside of the castle...one of my favorite flowers is the poppy!
All Star bros! (see shoes above)

Happy Birthday Meg! I remember you saying your birthday fell in May, but I didn't know when. Sounds like you had an amazing day. I'm so glad Jack is such a great traveler (and tea participant).
