Kurt's First Father's Day!

Today is Kurt's first Father's Day! We went to church, then came home to open gifts. We are going to the pool later and then to eat at The Flying Saucer for dinner (Kurt's favorite!).

Kurt is an amazing father to Jack. I honestly think Kurt has been dreaming of being a father for as long as I have been dreaming of being a mother. He is truly a servant to our family and does anything and everything to make sure we are happy and well provided for. I am so truly lucky to have a husband who loves the Lord and loves his family more than life itself. It's been amazing to watch Kurt over the past year with Jack. Jack adores his father and loves spending time with him. He loves when Kurt takes him on a "Blade Bros" (Kurt rollerblading with Jack in the jogging stroller and Hudson running alongside). When they get back, Daddy and Jack share a glass of ice water (Jack's favorite part!). He loves when his dad chases him or acts silly or does the crab dance. Jack has literally almost jumped out of his high chair with excitement over his dad playing peekaboo from behind the counter. Good thing he has a seat belt on the chair! Jack also loves his bathtime with daddy and has learned to splash and get dad all wet.
