13 Months!

Jack is quite the character these days. Here are the fast facts about Jack at 13 months:

1. He is walking really well now!

2. He has 6 teeth that are poking through.

3. He loves to go on tricycle rides with Hudson tagging along and licking his toes throughout the walk.

4. He has managed to catch the cats!

5. He likes to clap and dance.

6. His favorite toy is the cat toy (a long stick with a string on the end). It drives June Bug crazy because she wants to attack it so badly but does not want anything to do with Jack!

7. He still takes 2 naps and nurses 3x/day.

8. His favorite food is string cheese.

9. He laughs when I brush his teeth.

10. He loves to climb on the couch (we are trying to teach him to get down backwards, not head first.)

11. I call him an "observer" because when he is at home he is talkative and smily, but when we are around other people, he is very quiet and watches others very intently. He is not really shy, but does take a while to warm up to new surroundings/people.

12. He loves books. He will now go pick up one of his books and flip through the pages looking side to side and babbling. He also loves when mom reads The Hardy Boys. We just finished our first full Hardy Boys book. "Good Night!" as Frank and Joe would say!

13. He loves to imitate...just today we were trying to hang something on the wall. We were using the stud finder and Jack took it and moved it along the wall just like daddy. It was sooo cute.

14. He is a ham when mom brings out the camera!
