Jonah

Today's conversation after BSF was pretty funny. Had to write it down before I forgot...

Mommy: Jack did you have fun in BSF today? What did you do?
Jack: Played with Jack-in-Box.
Mommy: Did you read the Bible?
Jack: Yes!
Mommy: What did you learn about?
Jack: GOD! (This is his standard answer.)
Mommy: Did you learn that Jesus is coming back to earth? (I cheated and looked at the handout!)
Jack: Yes, in a big fish. A big fish swallowed him.
Mommy: Oh, you mean a big fish swallowed Jonah?
Jack: Yeah! Whale has big teef and he ate Jonah. Spit on the sand.
Mommy: Yes the whale swallowed him because he disobeyed God. After the whale spit him out, Jonah obeyed and went to Ninevah to tell the people about Jesus.
Jack: And he put on clothes. (I can only imagine what Jack is picturing when he things of Jonah in the whale!)
Mommy: Yes he put on clothes.
