Day 3 we went exploring on the property where our cabin was. The trails were beautiful...who needs the national park!? This was a big adventure in an of itself. We had to cross 2 rivers with the help of our tour guide, Kurt, all while carrying Audrey in the ErgoBaby! Kurt constructed a bridge for us out of logs and rocks in the second river. I think he enjoyed "being a boy" and getting out in the wilderness! After we crossed the second river, we ended deep in the woods near a very large log cabin. We were lost! We climbed the hill and followed the road to more civilization only to find that we were no where near our cabin! I waited with the kids while Kurt hiked a mile back through overgrown trails to our cabin to get the car.
This was one of the creepiest spiders I have ever seen! They were everywhere on the trails!
