On day 5, we went in to downtown Asheville and ate at the Tupelo Honey Cafe! I must say, it is some of the best southern comfort food I have ever had! The biscuits are as big as your head and the fried chicken is amazing! Not to mention the Friend Green Tomato Roast Beef Sandwich! Needless to say, I bought there cook book! We also went shopping at "The Grove" which was interesting and really shows what an artistic town Asheville is. I think its called "The Paris of the South". One of the restaurant owners we spoke to described it as "Austin, 25 years ago".
Jack liked the honey...can you tell?
At night, Kurt and I had little date-nights by taking our wine in mason jars out to soak in the hot tub. It was perfect!
I didn't know hydrangeas could grow along the road!
