We also had the privilege of visiting Kurt's family and we were able to be there when all of the siblings were there as well. This was really special since Kurt was able to spend time with his brother and dad. They went to the shooting range and shot some of Papa's pistols, even one that Great-Grandpa had from a Nazi in WW II. Of course I was able to squeeze in some girl time with mom to go shopping!
We were able to go to Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma's farm again this year with the kids. We look forward to this each year! Grandpa agreed to play the "dutch pull-out" for us and even let me try my hand at playing it. He and his father were apparently very talented at playing the piano and accordion. I hear that Walter was quite the entertainer! Jack had the opportunity to ride the ATV with Kurt. Kurt quickly showed him how to push the gas to make the ATV move and Jack gunned it! Maybe next year he will be able to have a little more control over the gears!
One of the most special things about visiting this year was the opportunity to spend time with Kurt's sister's family! We have not seen them for several years! It was really precious to see all of the cousins interact and enjoy one another. We got to meet the Tarticchio's newest addition, Jacob, who is just as sweet as can be! Dominic is just hilarious in everything he says and Lily is so mature, yet so girly and playful! They all now live in St. Louis so we will get to see them more often which is a blessing! (See any resemblance between Jack and Dom?)

I was just showing these pictures to a friend at work. She was showing me pics of her twin grand-daughters and it reminded me to look at your blog. I have a Star Wars book that I need to send to Jack. The pictures are precious! I'll have to print some of them out.
Love,
Aunt Holly
