Playtime!

Now with 2 children, it seems like our time at home has intensified quite a bit. Honestly, its been a little bit difficult  for me. I do like to be out and about and Jack was such an easy kid to take with me. He really is very mindful and not too rowdy (outside the home that is!). Needless to say, we stay at home more often now. It has been really good for me to learn that just being with my kids and playing with them is equally, if not exponentially more, productive than marking things off a list. In reality, all a child wants is to play with their mom or dad and feel that they have their undivided attention. We were made to crave relationships and connection with other people. I love that I have the privilege of being the one to providing that for my children and ultimately teaching them that God is the only one who can truly satisfy their thirst...something God has been teaching me recently!
