On day 7 we went to Cape Elizabeth to see the Portland Headlight (lighthouse) and eat at the well-known Two Lights Lobster Shack. We each had a "lobsta" roll which both Kurt and I were underwhelmed with and felt was way over-priced. I much preferred the crab/seafood salads we had been eating over this. But hey, it was worth the experience and seeing the amazing views from above the crashing waves! We then headed to Portland to go to the LL Bean store. I couldn't convince Kurt that I needed an adorable pair of black patent wellies...one disadvantage of living in Texas where it never rains!
