This year we had a Jesus Birthday party with our small group buddies! It was so much fun! First we had the privilege of eating fried turkey for the first time thanks to the Cullis! It was amazing! The kids iced and decorated cakes for our dessert. We all braved the cake despite many licked fingers (please see third picture below!). We made a cake that was 3 layers to signify the gospel...chocolate to represent sin, strawberry to represent the blood of Christ shed for us, and of course vanilla to signify our sins being washed away and we are now seen as holy and pure in the eyes of the Lord! The excessive sprinkles were just an added bonus! The kids also really enjoyed the trick candles!
