Home Again Home Again...

Jiggety-Jog! My mom always used to say this when we arrived home at our house on Tedford. Now I say it too. I was able to make it home in May for a visit with just Audrey and I (before she turned two and I would have to purchase a ticket for her). It was a good thought but in the end I was sick at the time our flight was scheduled so we ended up paying some hefty fees to change the flight. Oh well! God knows better than I do. I feel like learning to trust in God's timing is the theme around here at the Trauth household!

We had a wonderful visit with the family and even were there to send Uncle Birthday off on his 6-week adventure to "the middle of nowhere" for his geology major. We were also there for Mother's Day which was very special. I haven't been with my mom on Mother's Day for many years.  The weather was beautiful and I had once again how lush the midwest feels compared to Texas. The trees are tall and soft and the grass feels like carpet. I suppose we don't learn to appreciate things until we do without. Oh how I long to walk in soft grass without the threat of fire ants and snakes. ;)

There is something very special about watching your children with their grandparents. Not sure how to put it into words. Needless to say, we were blessed by the visit and miss our families.

The pics of Marleigh were wonderful. Loved every minute of your visit home with Audrey.
