8 Months of Goodness!

Oh sweet Samuel. How we love you. You are probably about 20 or 22 pounds and and have the cutest chunky thighs and feet. You are the cutest little boy and people love to interact with you. Here are some snippets about you!

You love to smile at people and still turn your face towards me as if you are shy.

You nurse about 5-6 times a day and only eat 1 meal (if that) of solid food. You like sweet potatoes, raspberries, avocado, puffs and most other things we have given you.

You have forgotten how to drink from a bottle. This is a constant reminder of God's goodness in allowing you to relearn how to nurse after your surgery.

You let me put you in your crib for the first time yesterday for a nap without rocking you to sleep first.

You wake up crabby like your brother and sister always have.

You have found your voice and love total over me.

You still spit up all the time.

You can literally move your high chair by kicking your legs.

You like everyone to be at the table together at dinner and get upset when one of us leaves.

You still have blonde hair...a
constant reminder of a prayer answered for another child to raise here on Earth.

You love to let Henry lick your hands at the dinner table.

You will stay for a bit on your hands and knees if I put you there and can go back into sitting but you cannot yet go from your belly up to all fours.

You still love to be held and do not tolerate being put down...ever. :)

Your brother and sister adore you. They simply adore you.

We love you Samuel! You were dedicated to God this past month and we were so happy to do that before the church. We pray God will give us the grace and wisdom to raise you to know the Lord and that you will come to know him at an early age.
