Sam is 11 Months!

Hello sweet baby Samuel! Happy 11 month birthday...the last "monthly" birthday you will celebrate before turning one. You still seem so much like a baby that it's hard to believe you will be one in only a month. You are still so much my baby. The other day I asked Jack and Audrey what kind of birthday party we should have for you. I said, "What does Sam like?". All three of us replied at the same time, "milk!". And it is so true. You love to nurse and can't get enough. You still nurse about 5-6 times each day and eat only 1 solid meal. Maybe we'll have a milk and cookies birthday party for you. If it were up to me, we would skip solid food until you were 2. :)

Here's a little about you:
You are about 19-20 pounds.
You just had your extranumerary/accessory nipple removed.
Your hair is blonde still and you even have a few hairs left from your newborn hair. It sticks straight up in the back which draws a lot of attention.
You sleep from about 7-6:30. You nurse and then usually go back to sleep for a bit. Then you nap from about 10:30 until 1 or 2. Sometimes you take a nap between 4-5 if you woke up early.
You love mum mums and puffs.
You are very coy and love to lay your head on mommy's chest and smile at people. Mom's dig this. :)
Daddy said you had your first pitty party today. You tried to grab onto a basket but fell forward. You put your on the carpet and whined. Then you got back up and smiled and went on your way.
You still crawl with one leg up half the time.
You are learning to pull to a stand.
You sometimes say dadadadada. No real words yet.
You have been experimenting with nursing in a variety of acrobatic positions.
You have the cutest rosey cheeks.
Your brother and sister love to make you laugh.
Audrey loves to try to hold you.
Daddy gave you a donut hole the other week at the weekly Shipley outing. Naughty daddy.
You have 6 teeth. The two front teeth are very cute. You have been biting people a little bit.
Sometimes you get scare of Micki when she walks around the room but you love to pet her.
You are afraid of balloons.
You truly are a blessing Sam...just as Samuel was to Hannah.

We love you baby boy!!!
