Thanksgiving at the Farm

This year we spent Thanksgiving at Kurt's grandparents' farm. It was absolutely wonderful. The weather was beautiful so we were able to be outside, and Jack was able to experience the farm from every angle. Grandma Trauth prepared a spectacular meal (22 lb turkey plus a 3 lb breast). Grandpa Trauth only eats the turkey, rolls, potatoes and stuffing. He doesn't mess around with the veggies! Jack was able to meet his Great Grandparents for the first time and sit on the tractor with Great Grandpa. All of the little cousins were there, but they aren't so little any more. I almost didn't recognize them. Jack's Mamo and Papa (Kurt's parents) enjoyed spending some quality time with Jack. He found his voice while at their house and hasn't stopped talking since! We feel blessed to have such wonderful parents who make us feel so loved and cared for when we come visit. We can't wait to come again!
