18 Months!

I never thought this day would come! It seems like yesterday that Jack was born and now he's already 1 and 1/2. It's amazing what a child this age is capable of, such as walking Henry on a leash and pretending to be a dog. Tonight he tried eating the buttons on my sweater like Henry. He is capable of loving another and showing his affection which is amazing to me as well. Here are a few tidbits about Jack at his 18 month birthday:

He loves to ham it up for attention or the camera!

He has learned to share, although he doesn't really like to. Does any kid?

He is a picky eater right now...currently he likes applesauce and cous cous.

He always folds his hands when we tell him we are going to pray.

He gets excited when we go to BSF and he goes into his classroom.

He can feed himself. He can actually get food on the spoon and put it in his mouth without the spoon tilting. Kurt and I were very impressed when this happened!

He is starting to have strong preferences for his clothing. He loves his puppy pjs!

He sometimes says da da da, but then smiles and shakes his head no when we ask him if he's saying dada.

He loves Thomas the Train anything and Sesame Street.

He loves to read his Bible.

He still loves his mama and loves to sit in her lap.

One of his favorite activities is rough housing on the bed with dad.
