19 Months

****Update: Jack just traded his paci for some of Henry's food. Eww!

Jack is 19 months already as of tomorrow! I can't believe it. He is quite the character. Here's the scoop on Jack:

*He loves his new puppy and imitates him all the time...pretending to drink from the water bowl, trying to lick my toes, and snuggling on our laps. It's precious. Ne no longer gets upset with Henry takes his toys...he understands its a game now!

*He's still taking 2 naps a day when we don't have activities in the morning. I don't mind this too much!

*He had started his tantrum phase, which has been pretty frustrating for me recently. Been asking God for peace and patience a lot recently!

*He loves to smell his toes to get a reaction from Kurt and I when we say "stinky toes! nasty, don't do that! ewww!". He cracks up and does it again!

*He can identify most of his major body parts!

*He makes animal sounds (dog, lion, elephant) and car/truck noises. He still doesn't have many words that he uses on a regular basis.

*He is fascinated by trucks and tractors. I need to find a construction site to take him to for entertainment!

*He learned last week how to blow bubbles in the pool at swimming lessons.

*He is super affectionate and loves to give hugs and kisses. He went up behind his friend Mady and gave her a hug the other day without me saying anything!

*He loves to imitate everyone....not just Henry. Last night he was imitating a baby lying on his tummy propped on his elbows. It was precious.

*His new thing is to stand on a chair next to mommy while she cooks and pretend to help.

*He's been fairly picky with food recently but always has a sweet tooth. I know have to hide if I am going to eat a cookie or anything I don't want him to have!
