Happy Easter! This year I began BSF studying the book of John...we are only on the 17th chapter, but I feel like I know my Savior so much more intimately this year and so Easter was truly a precious and joyous occasion for me. The worship time at church was so sweet and I was so happy to be filled with a passion of sharing the amazing news of the empty tomb with Jack. He's still pretty little, but we did the Resurrection Eggs (all in one sitting) and he loved it (except for the empty egg at the end!). He came home with an Easter egg necklace from Sunday school which was the first thing he has brought home from church.
We decided to go to the Magnolia Pancake Haus for breakfast and enjoy their amazing waffles and pancakes. Jack was more into the mixed berries...he devoured my blackberries before I could even blink. We then went to church and arrived a little early, just enough time to click a few pics. We then went to the service and came home for Jack's nap. Later in the afternoon we grabbed our dinner and headed downtown. We ate at some of the little bistro tables and then strolled throughout the city. It was a beautiful night, so peaceful and the streets with empty. It was perfect.
No idea what Jack is doing here, but he looks like Vanna!

Jack, you are growing up so fast and are such a great guy! Thanks for sending me a birthday card with pictures, stickers and handprints. I got a lot of nice things but that was the best! Love, Papa/
