The other night I was reading Jack a Bible story and the topic of God being everywhere came up. Here is the sweet conversation...
Mommy: Jack, God is in Heaven and he is also in your heart...he is everwhere! (In my head I was thinking...How do I explain God's omnipresence to a 2-year old?)
Jack: God in tummy.
Mommy: Yes God is in your tummy. He made your tummy.
Jack: God in tummy.
Mommy: Yes that's right....He's also in Heaven with Jesus. What do you think Jesus looks like?
Jack: A dinosaur!
Mommy: What else does he look like?
Jack: A lion!
This last part was so funny to me because Jack does know what Jesus looks like (or at least how the children's Bible portrays him!) He really loves to pretend now and get a reaction from mom!
