Mar-weeee!

This week we had the privilege of having our niece Marleigh stay with us over her spring break! We had loads of fun and Jack really enjoyed spending time with his cousin (Mar-wee as he calls her). He is always asking her, "Whatch you doing Marwee?". The first day she was here we took her to the Natural Bridge Safari which was just hilarious! Kurt promised to feed the crazy ostriches and as you can see, they are pretty aggressive with asking for food! The first ostrich we approached came running at our car with his wings spread and hissing so Kurt decided to roll up his window. In the end, he feed the ostriches and even pet one on the head. I personally loved the llamas even though they sneezed on me twice! I think Marleigh's favorites were the long horns and the zebras!

After the safari, Marleigh and I headed to the outlet malls to do a little shopping! I think I wore Marleigh out!

The hissing ostrich...

Here's Kurt feeding the crazy ostrich and Marleigh freaking out!

Here's Meg getting sneezed on by the llama!

Feeding the zebras!

This is the tiger pillow that Marleigh brought for Jack! If you unzip it, it turns into a stuffed tiger. He loves it!

Henry has a new best friend!

On Sunday we went to dog park and then had a picnic. Later in the afternoon, we went to a Missions baseball game! The weather was perfect!

Jack's favorite part was the dancing puffy taco and Ballepeno!

Jack's second favorite part was the popcorn!

Monda we went for a walk at a park and fed the ducks by hand! We also explored the creek which was a favorite activity of Jack and Marleigh. Monday night we went to The Painted Plate and had a little girls night.

Tuesday we went to the mall to shop and then Kurt took her on a biking adventure to explore the old missions. It was HOT but they said it was fun!

On Wednesday, we had to go to the OB but then we went to Buffalo Wild Wings, which is one of Marleigh's favorite eateries! On Thursday, we went bowling in the morning and then it was time to say farewell. Until next year...
Below is Marleigh's mini photo shoot! She is so grown up!
