One Month!

Today Audrey is 1 month old! It seems like she has been a part of our family for much longer! She is such a joy and we are really enjoying her in her infant stage. She is having more awake times where she is wanting to interact and gaze into our eyes. She also still loves her "daddy time" from 9-12 at night. She really only cries when she is hungry, gets a bath or when Henry decides to jump on her head (we had a little incident the other day!). Hopefully she will enjoy her real baths more than her sponge baths when we switch to that! Suprisingly she does love her hair washed though! She is such a laid back baby and I hate to say it but she would be termed as an "easy baby" (knock on wood). I don't think we would have appreciated her calmness her like we do had we not had the opposite experience with Jack. I always knew Jack would have been just like Audrey had he not had stomach issues...poor guy. Jack is still loving Audrey. She loves to give her kisses and hugs as well as pinch her nose! They are just really sweet together. She still nurses about every 2.5 to 3.5 hours depending on her mood and the time of day. The other night she slept about 6 hours in one stretch. It was amazing. Jack did not do that until he was 6 months old and we made him cry it out! Again...poor little guy. She has started to find her voice...a couple of times she has let out a big sigh when she is frustrated. It's super cute. I cannot wait for her first smile! We are just so in love with our little girl (and our little boy) and feel so blessed to have two babies! Thank you God for your many blessings.
