On day 4, we drove to Asheville but made a quick stop in Arden to visit the J Crew outlet center. I couldn't go all the way there and not stop! However, it was somewhat of a bust...I think the outlets are much better! We fell in love with our second cabin which was more cottagy and it had a fireplace which makes it a winner in my book! Jack originally chose to sleep in the "train room" but late we moved him. We heard over the monitor, "Mommy, there's something on the light!". When I went to go check on him, there was a nice big spider illuminated by his night light that was crawling straight for his head. When I looked around, I saw a couple more spiders, so we felt it best to move him to a different room. We told him that we thought he would like a bigger bed to sleep in (and he bought it!).
Just as a side note, we decided not to watch t.v. while in North Carolina. It was amazing! We were able to talk to Jack so much more and hear what was on his little heart. Here is one of our conversations...
Mommy: Jack, I don't want you to ever grow up. I want you to stay my little boy forever.
Jack: But Jesus wants me to grow up.
Mommy: Why?
Jack: So I can reach things.

Audrey's face shows how I feel about spiders!
