Here I am with baby Ashlyn, proud Auntie Meg! I love this baby (and her parents) so very much and I am so very blessed to have the privilege of knowing her. She is so sweet and according to her mama, has been a really good baby so far! She is so attentive and locks eyes with you when she is being fed. Waylon and Carolyn have been waiting for this baby girl for a very long time and it was so fun to see their dreams come true. This family has taught me so many things in the short 6 years I have known them, especially how to truly trust in our faithful God in every season of our lives and how when we honestly seek after God's will for our life, we are blessed! Thank you God for this sweet baby and for your plan for her!
PS The last picture is of the time 6:22 PM on January 22nd...48 hours after she was born. I was counting down the minutes. For those who may not know, a birth mother cannot sign documents until 48 hours after birth.
