Nostalgia

On my last visit home, I was struck (or I guess reminded) how nostalgic I am. When I see certain items in my parents' house memories flood my mind. I am the same way with smells...gingerbread cookies alone are tied to so many wonderful times. I decided to take pictures of some of the things back home that are tied to sweet memories. My mother's line of cookbooks remind me of so many baking sessions, family dinners, tasty home-cooked food, celebrations and traditions. My dad's mixture of "power cereal" has been around for so long I can remember Marleigh eating it when she was so little. The Oscar cup entered the family who knows when and sweet Raggedy Anne has been staring at me for so long. Although we never filled her with cookies, she somehow made her presence known. Sigh...
