I recently had the privilege of helping to host a shower for my very dear friend Denise! We have only been in a small group together for about 6 months, but it feels like years that we have known each other. She is about to have her second baby, a little boy! They have not revealed the name yet, hence the lack of monogramming everything in site! ;) I have always wanted to do a bird shower and since Denise loves birds and was in the process of decorating her daughter's room in birds, why not!? It turned into kind of a bird egg/nest theme along the way and I was able to incorporate one of my favorite things...spray paint (see below for the white branches which were from my tree in the front yard!). Here is our guest of honor...isn't she glowing?
Denise's friend, Danielle who lives in Austin, helped a lot with the shower. She made two adorable banners and amazing cupcakes with toppers! She also found the perfect electronic invite to go with the theme found here...Nest Baby Shower Invitation
