Scene: Jack and I were racing from one store to another. Jack started to slow down and fall behind.

Mommy: Jack, come on! You should be beating mommy!
Jack: Why?
Mommy: Because you are a little boy and you have more energy than mommy.
Jack: But your tummy is bigger than mine.
Mommy: What do you mean? (I knew where he was going with this, but just wanted to see if I was correct.)
Jack: Your tummy is bigger so you can eat more food and so you have more energy.

He actually does listen when I tell him he needs to eat so he has energy to play!
